Among the first things you see when arriving at Sahale Retreat are a compound of red-roofed white buildings on a ridge overlooking an expanse of meadow, pond, and trees: Walking around the terraced garden and the cedar decks, you begin to breathe in the silence and peace in which these buildings rest, a quiet that is usually unbroken only by bird song or at night, the sound of coyotes howling or deer munching fallen apples in the orchard.

We have added additional space, Homestead Cabin and Tum Tum, which can be view here.

Kloshe, the main house. Main floor: living room with room for a group of 30-40; wood stove; small kitchen; sun room. A sofa bed in the living room opens to sleep two as well as one double sofa bed in the sun room. Lower floor: Coho bedroom with one double bed and bunk beds; Chinook bedroom with one queen size and two single beds; full bathroom; laundry room. Large cedar deck wraps around front of the house with two hot tubs overlooking the meadow; deck chairs, tables, plantings, and bird feeders.

Dining hall can be used as meeting space and other activities such as arts and crafts and dancing. Kitchen facilities with two dishwashers, large gas stove, additional burners and griddle, microwave oven, two sinks, refrigerator and walk-in cooler. Fully equipped with utensils and dishes. Fresh herbs from adjoining green house and, in season, herbs and vegetables from the vegetable garden.

A patio area with outdoor seating welcomes guests and provides outdoor seating around a large green carpet.
