"What
permaculturists are doing is
the most important activity that any group is doing on the planet.
We
need options, we need people experimenting in all kinds of ways and
permaculturists are one of the critical gangs that are doing that."

Pacific Northwest Permaculture Design Course
Sustainable Food Production & Food Security
February 22 - March
8, 2009 at Sahale Learning Center
Thanks
for inquiring about our upcoming Pacific Northwest Permaculture Design
Course (PDC). We are delighted to welcome both returnees and new
faces to our 3rd 2-week permaculture intensive at
Sahale Learning Center. We invite you to
explore Sahale, using the menu to the left.
This 2-week hands-on intensive will impart permaculture principles and
methodologies which can be applied immediately on both large and
small-scale projects.
Through lecture, slide shows, discussion,
observation, field trips and group participation activities,
permaculture design students will develop the practical skills and
knowledge necessary to design and implement sustainable systems that are
in harmony with the natural world.
The course is
limited to 30 participants and we encourage early
registration to ensure
a place. Please download a
flyer and course detail page
for additional information.
We
have kept all the design materials from previous PDCs, so participants
can see how we have shaped the development of Sahale by implementing
ideas offered during the previous courses.
