The Sahale Learning Center, located near Belfair, WA, is available for hosting events and retreats for mission-aligned groups, and may also be available for off-season personal retreats.
Facilities
Groups have access to the kitchen, Potlatch. Food service is not provided.
From late May till late September, the 40'x60' event tent is available. The Kloshe Living Room, Sunroom, and the Mamook Living Room are also available as indoor gathering spaces.
An 8' diameter wood hot tub is available for use. The Swamp, stylized as a local tavern, for casual hangouts or activities like open mics, is also available for an additional fee.
The Land
Sahale’s 50 acres is home to many gifts; beautiful landscaping, a quiet forest, apple trees and a walnut grove, a cornucopia of native plants, a large meadow, and a magical sacred grove of ancient cedars.
We share this land with deer, beaver, fox, mink, river otter and many species of birds.
The ever-changing Tahuya River refreshes us, and hosts spawning salmon in the Fall. A bubbling spring quenches our thirst and a quiet pond stills us. Held close by hills and forest, we enjoy the open vista over our valley.
