
Accommodations at Sahale
Personal retreats are available at Sahale for those looking for peace and quiet, to write, meditate, or connect with the land. While Sahale is a community space, social activity is minimal during the off-season. You should come expecting to be on your own.
We have a variety of room options at different price points. Some are in our Upper Campus, which is where most of the buildings are clustered, and some are in our Lower Campus, which provides a more natural setting.

Important facilitaties information:

We don't offer transportation.

We don't offer food service. The Potlatch kitchen is available for your use. While very basic food items like salt, cooking oil, and some spices will be available, you must bring all of your own food. The Tillimook Apartment is the only space with its own kitchen. Both kitchens have cook ware, utensils and dishes.

We do not allow pets or companion/emotional support animals. Service animals are allowed in compliance with ADA guidelines.

All bathrooms are shared.

Laundry machines are available for stays of 3 nights or more, but we ask that you use it as little as possible.

The Wifi is decent unless several people are trying to stream or do other bandwidth-heavy activities at the same time. If there are only a couple people staying, you likely could do a Zoom call, but we cannot guarantee there will be enough bandwidth to support it.

Cell phone service is limited and should not be relied on.
Camping
For those willing to brave the elements during the off-season, camping is available and a great way to atune yourself to the natural environment. Indoor bathrooms are available for campers' use, as is the kitchen in Potlatch.

The Salish Suites
These three rooms in the Kloshe building (upper campus), which can be reserved individually, are some of our most spacious. They offer direct access to the living room and sunroom. They share a bathroom on the same floor, with an additional bathroom on the bottom floor.
$90 - 60/night depending on length of stay
The Tillimook Apartment
Tucked beneath the Klawi bunkroom (upper campus), this is the largest space available, and is the only space with its own kitchen.

Kopet Wa Wa
This tiny house with one single bed offers more seclusion than other rooms in the upper campus, while still being in close proximity to facilities.

Mamook
These four rooms in Mamook (upper campus), which can be reserved individually, are a cozy and affordable option. Shared bathrooms are upstairs and downstairs, and there is direct access to the Mamook living room.
$60 - 30/night depending on length of stay
Spruce and Pines
These two rooms, which can be reserved indivdually, in the lower campus offer a balance of comfort with more direct access to the natural beauty of Sahale. Bathrooms are across the deck outside, and are shared with other rooms in the lower campus. Wifi is accessed in the Upper Campus.

Alder and Cedar
These two rooms, which can be reserved individually, in the lower campus offer even more seclusion and connection with the land. Bathrooms are a 100 ft walk to the deck of the Spruce and Pines rooms. Wifi is accessed in the Upper Campus.
$70 - 40/night depending on length of stay
The Meadow Cabin
If you're really looking to get away, this is the space for you. The Meadow Cabin, with one single bed, set on the north end of the river field and walnut grove, immerses you in all of the serenity the land has to offer. The only draw back is a 300 ft walk to the bathrooms on the deck of the Spruce and Pines rooms. Wifi is accessed in the Upper Campus.

Coho and Chinook
These rooms in Kloshe (upper campus, downstairs from the Salish Suites) both have a double bed and a bunk bed. They are perfect for a small family or a few close friends.
$90 - 60/night depending on length of stay. May vary depending on the number of beds used.
Klawi Bunkroom
With five beds (three double, two single), the Klawi bunkroom (upper campus) is perfect for a crew of people on an adventure.
